Leprechaun

The first in the series, I wasn't going to bother with this until I found out that it was Jennifer Aniston's first lead role in a film (nothing better than a young Jennifer Aniston - I mean, look):

No? Well if that doesn't do it for you, Warwick Davis plays a leprechaun who wants his lucky charms back.

If that sounds familiar, it's not a coincidence. Lucky Charms bankrolled the whole thing at first, as a sort of bizarre advert, but when they saw how fucked up and violent the movie was they pulled their funding. The creators were then forced to remove all the product placement, and then as a fuck you to Lucky Charms they added in a bunch of scenes to make the movie more gory, and some extra dialogue, such as:

"Fuck you, Lucky Charms!"

Yeah, the kids actually says that, right as he's shooting a wad of chewing gum and four leaved clover into the leprechaun's mouth (which for some reason really hurts him), and it's hilarious.

The actual movie isn't really much to write home about however. It's pretty goofy-funny, but you can forget about scares. A nice little blast from the recent past though.
