Four years later and I can see some definite improvements in modelling and animation. It's all a little slicker, and the dog's hair looks more like real hair. Facial emotions are also expressed more vividly, and the toy's no longer rely so heavily on their voices to come to life. The voice acting is still great though, and the integration of Buzz with the rest of the cast is handled very well.
We also get to see a slightly longer and more complex story, and while I was never as fond of Jessie and the horse as I was the original group, they're a fair addition. I also loved all the Zorg bits, as well as the driving scene and all the little references to the original movie. The twist that Stinky Pete was a villain was even good, and I remember being really surprised by it on the first viewing.
A fine addition to what was (and still is?) Pixar's flagship movie series. I'll always like the original slightly more, though.
