Frankenhooker

I watched this with a friend expecting a cheeseball crappy comedy-horror, but it was actually hilarious on purpose! The two leads were great (Mullen's physical comedy was particularly memorable - the face thing, I mean) and the effects and cinematography weren't even that bad. For a B movie, this is brilliant, and it demonstrates it's self-awareness far more aptly than I would have expected.
Frank Henenlotter is known to be a bit of a basket case with his cinema, and this is an excellent addition to his memorable collection (including this, that makes two then). The film sees a hobby re-animatorist try to bring his girlfriend back using parts from a bunch of hookers buy exploding them all with “super-crack”.

The exploding hooker party scene was a highlight, as was watching his confused wife walking around the streets of NYC asking scared guys if they wanted a date in a nasally NJ accent that was more frightening than her appearance.
Extremely funny, I can hardly fault it for being so stupid, as it's so blatantly purposeful with it all. A fantastic piece of garbage.
